It is my sad duty to inform you that our Canadian Studies community in the United States - and elsewhere - has lost another valued friend and colleague. On November 28th, 2015 Dr. Paul Storer, Professor of Economics at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, passed away.
Paul is well-known to ACSUS members. He was an energetic and enthusiastic member of our community, participating frequently in Biennial conferences, serving on the Association's Executive Council, and serving on the editorial board of our journal, the American Review of Canadian Studies. We at ACSUS will miss Paul's sage and wise contributions to our organization's administration, his gentle, friendly and considerate demeanor, and his deep insights into the complex and important economic relationship that links Canada to the United States.
We at ACSUS extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Tina, herself an active member of ACSUS, and the many colleagues at WWU and around the world whose lives Paul touched over the years.
Attached (below) is an adaptation of Paul's faculty listing at WWU, and his obituary.
